Learn to appreciate empty space. Ask yourself, “What elements can I eliminate on this slide without compromising the effectiveness and message of the slide? Which elements on this slide are nonessential?” Get rid of all nonessential elements – text, logos, legends on graphs – and create enough empty space on your slides to give them a natural sense of balance.
